We launched Stylus Changemakers in 2020 with one simple aim: to celebrate and support the next generation of creators and innovators who are making a difference. We believe this kind of support is now more vital than ever.

So, we’re doing it again this year.

What is Stylus Changemakers?

Stylus Changemakers recognises and champions individuals and organisations using innovative thinking to drive positive change and push the boundaries of possibility within their industries. Like last year, we’ll be granting our selected 2022 Changemakers full access to our cross-industry trend intelligence research and events at no cost so they, too, can turn their ambitious goals into a reality.

What makes a Stylus Changemaker?

A Changemaker is on a mission to make a positive change and help create a better future. That mission must also align with one or more of our six core platforms of research: Sustainable Futures, Inclusivity Outlook, Digital Worlds, Luxury Perspectives, Wraparound Wellness and Convenience Culture.

SaltyCo

SaltyCo’s supply chain & business processes are one of the first in the world to be actively planet-healing. What that means is that while this materials science company develops their planet-positive textiles, the innovative production processes they use to do so are proactively heavily damaged ecosystems. The goal of SaltyCo is to reduce the consumption & over-reliance of the textile industry on our planet’s limited supply of fresh water. They achieve this by growing plants that thrive in dry and salty terrains, and that are watered instead by ample-in-supply seawater.

What our 2021 Changemakers say:

The strength of the research and support from Stylus helped us to not just create product but create legislation. There is now a law requiring that every department store in the city of California has a gender-neutral toy section. So, a lot of my success I attribute to the presentations I was able to create with Stylus’ help. It was the hook that brought people in.

Rob Smith, CEO, The Phluid Project
